Broker's Comments
Rumour has it that Westerly only made 5 examples of the Kestrel 35 because they over specified the fit-out and couldn't produce them at the price they were selling them for.
Personally I think there may be some truth in those rumours, either that or they were running out of rain-forest!
Above decks you are presented with a familiar looking Westerly cruiser, but down below is a totally different story and the condition of the joinery and upholstery does not give away her true age.
She has the obvious benefit of 2 x heads (being better than one!), an unusual feature on a boat of this length.
The privacy afforded by the 2 self-contained cabins with en-suite heads is ideally suited to 2 couples, or a family with older children.
The current owners have added a conservatory (Cockpit tent) giving an extra area of living / entertaining space.
The original teak deck on the cockpit locker tops has just been replaced with low-maintenance Tek-Dek.
