Broker's Comments
The classic trawler yacht style, inspired by Grand Banks. It was they who set the benchmark for this breed of long distance motor yacht.
Since the nineteen seventies many builders have followed the lead with Trader, CT, Mainship, Corvette of course Puget Sound to name but a few.
Their primary strengths are safe easily navigated decks with a high guardrail that goes completely around the boat. Great sea-keeping qualities paired with very economical and reliable twin diesels.
With her cruising speed of 7-8 knots you won’t be water-skiing behind her but the more athletic members of the mackerel family may well find their way onto your fishing lines.
This particular example can be described as a working example in functional condition given her age.
Down below, acres of lovely solid wood joinery in the cabins give a warm and inviting feeling to the interior.
2 Cabins with 2 heads make her suitable for two couples or a family of four to get away for the weekend or perhaps longer.
The engines start and run on the button, the navigation equipment and electrics are a little dated but the price has been set to reflect that some modernization would be desirable for the next owner.
That said, she is clean, dry and operational.
In use until September 2011 she has been serviced up to date and can currently be viewed ashore in Gosport.
