Broker's Comments
The more mature among us will remember the MG Spring’s fame as the yacht of choice on the “Howard’s Way”, a TV drama of yachting folk on the Hamble, but the type easily stands on its own reputation as a fast cruiser. She offers good accommodation for her length, and has lots of clever touches such as the open plan seating around the table. At night the forward back rest hinges up to extend the length of the V-berth to adult dimensions. There is a good-sized aft cabin and separate heads aft on either side of the companionway. Engine access is superb, with all the regular check items, including fuel separator and cooling water strainer, positioned ready to hand. This specimen has had a lot of recent upgrades, including hob, instrumentation, upholstery, running rigging, forestay and furling gear. The sails are crisp and white. She looks really clean and tidy, and appears to be in splendid condition.
