Broker's Comments
Right now there seems to be a shortage of affordable medium-sized cruisers, especially if you’re looking for a twin diesel engined set-up, so it’s good to be able to offer this very tidy example of a Coronet 24. There is much to like about this compact cruiser, not least the fact that she has been re-upholstered throughout. Her owners have taken pains to keep her well maintained, clean and tidy. The interior is nicely laid out, with a discreet heads to port and a neat but practical galley to starboard. Other good touches: the way the saloon table slots out of the way under the forepeak deck head, and the whole of the front saloon window opens up to give the saloon a an open and airy feel. Above decks, there is a well-appointed helm position to port, with a matching seat for the co-pilot to starboard. Behind is a comfortable bench seat, again newly upholstered. Beneath is excellent access to the twin 105HP Perkins Prima Diesel engines, providing power to the recently serviced outdrive legs. Overall, there is a tonneau cover, and also a full-height canopy to extend the living accommodation in less than perfect weather. This is a super boat, versatile and swift, with the additional virtues of twin diesel engine economy and reliability.
