Broker's Comments
Somewhat different from your AWB, this. Built in 1980 by Corinthian Yachts, this is a ketch-rigged pilot-house cruiser set up for short-handed sailing. She has a safe, deep cockpit with a business-like helm and easy access to the sail controls of both main and mizzen. The deck coverings are a robust non-slip patterned finish. In front of the helm a stable-door companionway leads down into a spacious, light wheelhouse, with dual helm, engine and instruments to port, for when the weather is less than idyllic. From there, there’s excellent all-round vision and a huge transparent sun-roof gives the helmsman clear sight of the set of the sails. No-one would disagree that she could use a little cosmetic work and some updating to bring her up to scratch, but the basics of a solid, safe and purposeful cruiser are all here.
