Broker's Comments
This is the best conversion I have seen. The workmanship and quality of materials are amazing. The engine was rebuilt by the owner, a Gardner specialist, is a work of art sitting its own very smart room.
The boat was built originally as a Tom Pudding tug, transporting coal from West Yorkshire mines to Goole docks.
Restoration began in 2000 and has been carried out to a very high standard, finishing 2008. Since then it has had light local canal use but is beautifully maintained.
Suitably equipped it would be capable of making sea passages and reach the French canals.
It would ideally suit a couple for long term cruising or with its fascinating background, a canal historian.
