Broker's Comments
I am so very pleased to be able to offer a truly magnificent example of the very capable Sunseeker Mustique 42 sports cruiser. This boat has to be seen to be fully appreciated as she is bristling with almost every feature a boat can have and appears to be in excellent condition throughout and very much loved by her current and previous owners. She has a valid Boat Safety Certificate to July 2023.
Her list of equipment is impressive to say the least with two reverse cycle air-conditioning / heating systems, Eberspacher airtronic 5KW diesel heating (fitted 2019), new canopy 2018, 8kva generator, 4g wi-fi fitted 2020, electrically lifting sun pad, electric toilets 2020, induction hob and new worktops 2020, engine bay cameras 2020, all new batteries 2021, engines serviced 2021 antifouled 2021, chartplotter, bow thruster radar etc the list goes on and on!
She has real big-boat feel, and is and genuinely stunning example of her type with very spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people, however, it never feels cramped benefiting from two separate sleeping cabins each with en-suite heads and shower compartments plus a large and comfortable open plan saloon and galley arrangement midships.
Her fabulous and practical interior is perfectly complemented by her vast and very sociable cockpit which has good condition and comfortable seating options for 8-10 plus the huge aft lifting sun pad!
Space and sociability are not a problem on this beautiful boat. Her full size twin helm seat ensures a couple can enjoy sea trips together and offers excellent visibility while at sea. Space and comfort are only half the story though. As with all Sunseeker models the emphasis is biased towards a polished and capable fast sea boat and Sunseekers never fail to deliver a fantastic sea experience. This boat is powered by the well respected and long lived Caterpillar 3208 435hp V8 Turbo diesels which provide more than enough power and yet are economical for a big boat engine and also smooth and quiet. The engines in this boat start and run very well indeed and with the addition of her bow thruster make her a breeze to handle. This fully equipped boat is totally self-sufficient with an 8Kva generator that starts readily and quietly so she can be fully off grid at any time. Solar panels add to her free roaming ability and complete what is a very attractive and well equipped throughout touring boat package.
She appears to be in very, very good condition everywhere you look and is clean and dry. Her GRP positively glows with years of love and care and I did not notice any damage to gel coat. If I had to be at all critical of this boat then it would the typical, shall we say, "lively" Sunseeker upholstery in the saloon. This is in very good condition but may not be to every taste. However, this would be inexpensive and easy to have changed if desired. However, there are many that like the splash of colour so this minor aspect is obviously down to personal preference
