Broker's Comments
It is not often I get my heart-strings tugged by an elderly power boat, but this time was different. Maybe I’m having a senior moment! Ha! This lovely lady has been around since 1969, and she is plain, tough, and has a character all her own. She has twin diesels, loads of space, a great big sheltered cockpit and simple but comfortable accommodation. While I was aboard we fired up the Eberspacher and within a very short time the cabin was warm and cosy. The engines started from cold at first turn, all the electrics burst into life and joy of joys, the cabin was as dry as bone, no sign of leaks or condensation, even on a chilly winter’s morning. She’s not fast, 9 or 10 knots maybe, but what a platform, what a great way to spend a summer touring our coasts or even the inland waterways – French canals anybody?
