Broker's Comments

We are pleased to have been asked to relist this stunning, bespoke motor cruiser, built on a Halmatic hull, originally by R.Burge of Kingston-Upon-Thames and painstakingly rebuilt and enhanced by her current Owner, with no expense spared! Over a two year period, all systems (gas, electric & water, etc) were replaced, new instruments installed, as well as the engines, gearboxes, shafts and props - in fact, she was not far off a new boat!

She has a beautiful, hardwood interior, with many unique features, with a good sized double aft cabin with heads, built to a personal spec. Large, airy cockpit and saloon and decent galley and forward cabin with a further heads/shower.

The whole floor in the cockpit is removable, giving good access to those pristine Nanni engines, electrics and other systems.

Juno is a very solid and comfortable boat, spacious enough to be a liveaboard. The two side doors alongside the steering position and the multiple deck cleats mean that she is easily handled by one person if necessary and despite her low air draft she has six foot three inches of headroom everywhere.

The owner describes her as the perfect boat for inland waterways such as the Broads or the Thames or Trent or for coastal and estuary sailing. She is powerful but economic at cruising speed. In his ownership, she has spent nine years in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and the Rhine in addition to several North Sea crossings.

Additionally, he says that in future, Juno’s maintenance should be relatively straightforward, bearing in mind that her topsides have just been refurbished to a high standard and are coated with epoxy under the Coelan finish. Her teak decks were completely rebuilt in 2009 and have been coated in Coelan again since (as above). Though they are glossy they are non-slip in deck shoes. The hull was copper-coated in 2018.

The owner is selling Juno regretfully. He is in his 80s and realises that all good things come to an end and that Juno needs a new owner who will treasure her as much as he has done since first he saw her on the Thames in the autumn of 2007. She is a boat that turns heads and in this age of mass production she stands out by being unique and beautiful.

I can highly recommend taking a closer look to see what she has to offer.

NB - The berth may be available by separate negotiation with the marina. An additional berth transfer fee may be applicable.
