She features an Outback true sine wave 2800 watt inverter, eight L-16 house batteries (new Fall 2008), two 8-D starting batteries (new Winter 2012) on an isolated charger, two marine deep cycle batteries to power davit (new Fall 2008) on an isolated charger. Engines charging as follows: 110 amp starboard alternator and a 150 amp port engine alternator.
• Shorepower via a 30/50 cable.
Extensive rewiring of DC and AC systems completed in 2009.
A note about the engines:
Actual engines hours are unknown, current hourmeters indicate 3,600 (P) and 2,500 (S) hours, but they are not the original meters. During Winter 2009, a significant maintenance upgrade was performed by NC Machinery with the objective of extending the life of the engines another 3000 plus hours. Work included replacing the raw water systems (new sea strainers, raw water pumps, custom made heat exchangers mounted off the engines), new engine mounts, new exhaust systems and rebuilt injector pumps. The engines operate with no apparent problems, run great and should survey well.

Broker's Comments
The Grand Banks 55 Alaskan was built to be an exceptionally-capable long-range cruiser and a luxurious motor yacht. In short she was conceived to go to sea. Her traditional wheelhouse, bridge deck, walk around side decks, and spacious engine room helped to make her a vessel that would be well-suited for blue water cruising. The large wheelhouse is typical of this thoughtful design and includes a watch berth, chart table, full instrumentation and port and starboard doors to the protected bridge deck. A comfortable U-shaped settee with teak table creates a superb area for dining or socializing. A single level living area over 23 feet in length is formed by the main saloon, the galley and the aft cockpit, which is enclosed with isinglass. The bright cheerful galley features a large new sink, a three-burner propane stove with oven and a newer refrigerator with freezer. Numerous large lockers for storage are located throughout the boat. Joinery throughout was done in golden Burmese Teak. The large master stateroom features a walk-around queen-size bed, amazing hanging and storage locker space, en-suite head, shower and tub and heated towel rack. Tow additional staterooms and a second head with shower serve both guest cabins.
Seattle moorage is potentially transferrable.
