Broker's Comments

Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 20m Dutch Barge for sale with Limehouse mooring.

Built just before 1900, this three bedroomed barge is available for the first time in many years and would make a great family home afloat. The overall space on offer is great and there is big potential to change the layout if you desired or to modernise the interior.

Entering from the starboard side down into a quasi entrance hall with a double cabin towards the bow and the main living area and galley as you move towards the stern. Large sky lights give it a bright feeling and there is space for a large sofa and dining area. The two cabins at the stern both have double beds with plenty of storage.

The boat was surveyed in 2015 for insurance purposes and the hull was overplated in the past circa 2005.

The leisure mooring at Limehouse Basin is fully transferable on payment of a 5% transfer fee (of the sale price). Current mooring fees are £10,000 per annum approx. Facilities at the marina include WiFi, shore power, laundry and pump out facilities.
