No. of double berths | 2 |
No. of single berths | 2 |
Cabin(s) | 1 |

Shower | 1 |
Heads | 2 heads () |
The accommodation has been thought out to be the most ecological possible.
Each sink has a manual foot pump.
The first heads is a Swedish Biolet dry WC ( I don't know how it works but there is absolutely no smell and it does not require pumping out).
Fridge Siemens A+++ consumption.
A hobbit wood burning stove in the kitchen.
Six solar panels (4 Solterra 75 W and 2 Ecoline 110W).
Pressure washer and folding bike included.
Our owners also used the portable electric bilge pump to clean the deck with raw water from the canal. The pressure washer you can see on the pictures is also included in the sale.
Ecological but not without comfort.
There is a pressurised water system for the shower water and hot water. The hot water is heated by a Somy diesel boiler.
The headroom of this traditional dutch barge was very low, but our owners have raised the ceiling keeping the traditional curves of the original structure. Due to this great improvement the headroom is now : 1.87 m in the kitchen (1.71 m for the low part between the companionway and the kitchen) and 1.96 everywhere else : in the shower, the saloon, the forward heads and the aft cabin.
The convertible sofa in the saloon can be a double bed of 1.85X1.40. With the two single bunk beds (1.85X0.85) four people can sleep in this room. The aft cabin is more intimate and a couple can find plenty of space in its 1.90X1.34 bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a large worktop, microwave, oven, fridge, 4 gas burners. In front of it there is a large table and dining area that can easily seat eight, ideal for convivial meals around the wood burning stove. The barge is being sold with all the cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils included. The owners also intend to leave the hand tools and equipment needed for winterisation and basic maintenance.
4 burner gas cooker/stove

Broker's Comments
Classic Hagenaar dutch barge for sale . Boatshed Midi Canals has the pleasure to propose you this Tjalk type classic dutch barge for sale full of charm.
Here is a part of the waterways history, more than 100 years old! Our owners have taken great care of it during 25 years. They raised the headroom to 1,96 m and replaced all the underwater hull with 6 mm steel sheet in 2017.
When I was on board I was surprised by the space and cozy feeling you get from this boat. Simple and ecologically friendly, the classic exterior does not result in a dingy interior. There is plenty of light from the many roof hatches and all without being seen from outside.
The length is just below the twenty meters so we don't have the ESTRIN to worry about but we benefit from the largest space possible. This boat is ideal to live aboard all year round for comfortable simple and ecological cruising.
There are of course lots of possibilities to change and upgrade to your tastes on a solid well looked after base to continue cruising the waterways in your own style.
