A battery charger Victron 24V / 16AMP.
A battery charger and inverter Mastervolt Combi 24 / 1200 .
There are 8 acid batteries in ventilated boxes in the engine room (2 Banner batteries 12V 105 Ah, 2 Eurorepar 12V 95Ah and 800A and 4 Rombat Terra batteries 12V 180 Ah/1000 A)
12V circuit :
2 batteries dedicated to engine start.
6 batteries dedicated to the service.
Circuit 220V:
A generator Mastervolt "whisper 4000" powered by diesel supplies the 220V when not on shore power. It must be quite silent due to of its soundproofing cocoon. The 220V is also provided by shore power.

I found this Dutch barge very well arranged to live all year round whether static or long distance cruising. We have a large covered terrace to enjoy outdoor meals and install its barbecue without getting in the sun. Then wheelhouse with 2 meter headroom here. With its air draft of 2.86 meters the boat passes all the bridges without dismantling anything.
We then descend into the living room/kitchen with 1.86 meter of headroom. To starboard a very large worktop to prepare dinner with others without struggling. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and four gas burners, a 12V fridge, sink and to the left of the fridge there is a practical washing machine of 3KG running on 220V.
Note the 220V onboard is provided by a Mastervolt generator "whisper 4000" diesel.
Continuing forward, to port we have the heads. The water supplying the shower is discharged thanks to an electric water pump.
The hot water is from a 60L boiler Sigmar Marine heated by the 220V and the engine.
Cabin heating is provided by a Diesel Webasto Air top 5000. Good to know, the boat is insulated by a rock wool type material.
From the toilet we have the starboard cabin. Its hatch gives light to this room and its bed is 120 by 190 cm.
Finally at the bow we have the owner cabin with its 140 by 190 cm bed accessible on each side. On the starboard side of this room we have a lot of storage. Under the bed of this cabin we have access to the bow thruster.
I understand with all this equipment and comfort why our owners were able to live year-round two and a half years on board.

Broker's Comments
Dutch barge for sale in France. Boatshed Midi Canals is pleased to offer this very nicely fitted live aboard barge for sale with so much to offer in just 15 meters length.
Really 'go anywhere' dimensions yet ideal for a full-time residential barge. Our vendors have lived on board for over two years and are only moving back on land because of an unexpected change of circumstances.
The sedan style layout is unusual and very appreciable giving a large aft deck accessed by the glazed patio style double doors making this a huge convivial space to cruise and enjoy company. The interior is just as welcoming with lots of space and light and its rich wood carpentry polished to a shine.
Two cabins, spacious saloon and galley, heads with shower and generous terrace deck and all in just 15 meters. An impressive little conversion well motorised and a spotless engine room to cruise the canals and rivers of Europe or an ideal pied-à-terre in the south of France.
