Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are delighted to offer this Collingwood Pioneer 60x9 Wide Beam which is presented in immaculate condition, and has been extensively upgraded over the stock boat from the builders. A great opportunity to get on the water now and avoid any long waits for a new boat.
The current owners have had her from new and their attention to detail in maintaining the boat is evident everywhere you look. This boat is five years old but you wouldn't know it even after a detailed inspection. Two major upgrades have been applied - one to the main heating stove which is now a thermostat controlled, wood pellet stove that can be controlled remotely and also to the toilet which has been converted to a Cinderella incinerator unit. It's worth doing some research into this unit because it makes cruising and life afloat infinitely easier.
The 9' beam is ideally suited to cruising being far easier to manoeuvre in marinas and locks so this would fit a couple or family looking to cruise, rather than being on a permanent mooring. There are 8 x 120W solar panels installed for off grid power with a 2.5KW inverter. It is fitted with a Vetus bowthruster which was replaced in 2022.
There are two cabins; the second cabin has been used as an office/extra storage but will fit a 6'6" length bed if it is to be used as a cabin. With the enclosed bow design, the master cabin benefits from extra space and ability to walk around the bed on both sides. There are also fitted wardrobes offering good storage.
The boat was blacked in May 2022 and the engine has been serviced every 200 hours.
