Broker's Comments

Boatshed Wales is pleased to offer for sale this Leisure 23.

As you can see from our video walkaround, the boat is currently afloat and ready to go. "Nina" comes with a 5 horsepower Johnson outboard, mounted on a lifting stern bracket. Although the boat has a diesel inboard, we believe it is currently not working. Additionally, the boat includes a transom-mounted Honda 2.3 horsepower tender engine.

The deep cockpit is surprisingly spacious, offering a safe place to helm from or relax in while at anchor. The aft locker houses two fuel tanks, a gas bottle, and additional storage space.

Below deck, the cabin is equipped with a sink, draining board, and a two-burner gas cooker. The saloon seating and drop-down table convert to form a large double berth to port. There is a small V berth forward and a quarter berth aft.

The boat requires some attention in places, as many older boats do, but it feels well put together and ready for anyone seeking a simple, low-investment sailing boat to enjoy without the commitment of larger boat ownership.

Berthed in the lower basin at Neyland, Pembrokeshire, the option to inherit the berth exists subject to negotiation with Neyland Yacht Haven.

A sweet little yacht, waiting to provide the perfect introduction to sailing.
