Broker's Comments

Regular readers will have gathered that I’m a big fan of Hardy cruisers, and used to own one, albeit a baby of the range. The Commander 32 was the one I aspired to. Sadly, it’s still out of my reach, but not from that of some other lucky individual. I was astonished to learn of this boat’s age; it looks pretty much mint to me. The hull gleams, the deck looks like new, and the upholstery is firm and spotless. Instruments, autopilot and a big chart-plotter/radar screen are all recent offerings from Raymarine and Garmin. No fly-bridge, but a full width glass sunroof purrs back at the touch of a button. Two big Yanmars drive props on shafts. Hardy sea-keeping is legendary; this is a boat that will be a pleasure to drive, whether planing purposefully towards a distant destination, or pottering in secluded harbours at displacement speed.
