Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 60ft Wide Beam with London mooring at Limehouse Basin, East London.
This two cabin barge makes an ideal pied-a-terre in one of London's best marinas. It was originally built in 2006 by Keith Wood Narrowboats and has an unusual layout with an entrance porch/utility area leading into the open plan galley and saloon. The second cabin is fairly small and used as storage currently but could be converted into a guest cabin easily. The master cabin is a very good size with access to the bow area and views across the marina.
The galley is well equipped with gas cooker, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Central heating comes from the gas boiler and the multifuel stove in the saloon. The electric flushing heads has a holding tank which can be pumped out in the marina.
The boat was last surveyed and blacked in October 2017.
The boat is sold with a leisure mooring at Limehouse Basin that is fully transferable to the new owner with a 7.5% transfer fee (of the sale price). Current mooring fee is £11,660 per annum. The mooring provides electricity, water, fibre broadband connection and use of the communal laundry. The marina is very secure and has a strong sense of community.
