Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are delighted to offer this comfortable 57ft Wide Beam for sale.
Built in 2008 by John White Narrowboats, this homely boat has an unusual layout that is a nice departure from the never ending stream of "open plan" boats. Nothing wrong with those at all, but here you have a separate galley with space for a dining table and then a lovely living room that has a real "cottage" feel to it. There are also two cabins, the smaller of which could be converted into a study.
The boat has been beautifully maintained by the current owners who have owned the boat for eight years and only selling up to have more space for their growing family. It was blacked in 2018 and has a new BSS which will run to May 2025. There are a lot of ways to keep this boat warm with a multi fuel stove in the living area that has a back boiler and is connected to four radiators, Eberspacher central heating connected to five radiators as well as electric heating too.
The bathroom has a good sized shower compartment, basin, storage and a Thetford cassette heads. The main cabin has a free standing double bed and plenty of storage. This leads to the second cabin with a single bed and there is also a washing machine fitted here. The engine room provides even more storage as well as room for a tumble dryer.
This boat is NOT sold with a mooring.
