Broker's Comments

This 55ft Wide Beam is now for sale with London mooring at South Dock Marina, SE16 and offers a very affordable route into securing your own floating home. The current owner is selling now rather than completing the required works so the next owner can be sure of adding some value.

Built in 1987, this one cabined boat has lots of nice features including skylights, lots of windows, a large master cabin and a great layout with separate sitting room and galley.

The boat was last surveyed in 2015 and can be lifted at South Dock which makes ongoing maintenance much easier from a logistical point of view. The boat is due for blacking and the topsides have had a primer applied but the new paintwork requires completion.

It has a multi-fuel stove in the saloon with a back boiler that powers the radiators in the cabin and galley. There is a gas boiler for hot water.

The boat is sold with a transferable, residential mooring at South Dock Marina - the best value marina in London for liveaboards. There is a 10% transfer fee (of the sale price) and current mooring fee is approx £10,500 per annum.

This boat requires some immediate works to get it into top condition but it is perfectly habitable (currently rented to a long term tenant) and the fact that all the works can be done in situ at South Dock is a massive advantage. Priced realistically to sell compared to other boats for sale in the marina so viewing early is recommended.

Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
