Broker's Comments

This lovely unique 50ft Widebeam features a fully-enclosed wheelhouse aft, yet is still able to go under canal and river bridges. It was originally built to go on the River Thames but ended up being sold into Lancashire to the existing owner who has had the boat from new. She has robust sliding doors forward and aft with large locks for the security conscious and is alarmed. The wheelhouse is light and airy and the bench seating has been adapted with an infill to create a single berth.

Going down into the modern galley with oven/microwave, separate hob, built in washing machine, 12v refrigerator/freezer and plenty of low level galley units. The saloon is divided from the galley by a breakfast bar which is an attractive modern design with a black worktop. The saloon has a widescreen TV, DVD, Video plus plenty of storage units and shelving. There is a skylight and both feature and down lighting which gives the boat a very airy feel. As well as radiators there is also an electric fire. There is a large foldaway dining table that fits in the saloon with chairs to create a good dining area for 6 that is stored behind the settee.

Moving down the corridor you come to the WC with built in vanity sink unit and radiator. Next is the single bedroom that could easily be converted to bunk beds or an office. There is a good size wardrobe with dresser, TV and radiator.

The large master suite has an en-suite shower room, large wardrobes, bedside units, radiator, under bed storage and a sliding door to the forward deck area which has seating for 8/10 people and a good size table, ideal for socialising, plus mood lighting. This really is a great feature of this boat.

The hull was treated with an Interzone epoxy system from new and had 3 coats of blacking 5 years ago, so is now due again.
