Broker's Comments
What can I say about this genuinely stunning example of a fully equipped Shetland 29i (inboard diesel) river cruiser!
This is very likely one of the tidiest, high quality and very lightly used boats of this type that I think I have ever seen. She was the star of the show at the London boat show in 2010 (in the video I mistakenly say 2011). She was the 2010 show stand feature boat and as such is equipped with almost every conceivable extra off the options list at the time. This boat has bow and stern thrusters, Electric anchor winch, electric toilet, full galley with fridge and additional wine cooler fridge, 4 tables, cockpit sun pad cushions (unused and still wrapped up from new) plus warm air heating, the list goes on and on. She has had very little use and the current owner is only the 3rd keeper of the boat. The hours are estimated by the current owner at just a couple of hundred hours or so at most! (it is very common for the VDO hour meter screen to go blank). She has been annually serviced and antifouled since 2014 and comes with a valid Boat Safety Certificate to 2023.
She has had two previous owners and is a genuinely stunning example of the type with very little signs of use or wear.
This amazing Shetland has a separate winter canopy (included) and a full all over winter cover is also available (generic not boat type specific) The boat exudes show quality everywhere you look and feels bright and very high quality indeed. She is a wonderful place to spend quality, comfortable time afloat with every conceivable comfort you could wish for. Warm air heating, 240V shore power and battery charging are all on the equipment list. The 54HP Yanmar 4J114E engine has incredibly low hours estimated at about 250 Hours and starts and runs as it should. The inner hull, under deck areas, engine bay and service areas are immaculate clean dry and tidy as you would expect from such a low use boat, and in many ways appear to be as close to "new boat condition" as you may be able find for the type. She offers sleeping arrangements and all in-fills to accommodate up to 5 people in comfort and her plush and well appointed cockpit is beautiful place to watch the world go by and relax in style. The sheer quality and specification of this boat has to be seen to be fully appreciated. Presented as she is in such an original and unmolested state is testament to just how well equipped this boat was when built for the boat show, and she will be certain to delight her new owner for many many years to come. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a genuinely tidy, original, barely used and high quality vessel.
As the owner is off to do other things in life, the mooring she is on may be available by separate negotiation with the marina and is in a very sought-after location in the heart of the Norfolk Broads prettiest area. If you are looking for instant boating (Broads Toll paid to 2022) in an almost new condition boat with very little use, then your cruising experience awaits...
