Construction

Construction Steel
Underwater profile Full-displacement
Finish Paint finish

A solid looking construction from 1901 with ribs just 35cm apart and reputed to have been built for coastal work. Hull last surveyed in May 2015. This vessel has had a one year bare hull up refit by our vendors and the result looks very professional indeed. They tell me they stripped out the previous interior back to a bare hull and started by painting the hull inside then opening emptying and cleaning the diesel tank then filling it full of fuel with anti diesel bug additive, opening and cleaning the fresh water tank then painting the interior with food grade paint. After these preparations the actual fitout was undertaken.
May 2021:
out of water for survey purpose ordered by vendor, in the main time small works being done such as repair of keel cooling, rivets welded, 8 new anodes followed by anti fouling.

Broker's Comments

Dutch barge for sale in France. Boatshed Bourgogne is pleased to offer this very nicely presented Dutch residential barge for sale. After a complete refit the vessel is sadly for sale due to a change in personal circumstances and a need to downsize. For someone seeking the ideal cruising home for the French waterways and European canals beyond she should be very high on your list. Just a smidgin' under the 20m TRIWV rules and almost 4m wide for ease of maneuvers with maximum liveability. Our vendors have extensively cruised the French waterways including the Canal du Midi and passed under the infamous Capestang bridge. Recently surveyed requested by the vendor, some small repairs were done such as welding on the keel cooling and few rivets, new anodes and at last a full anti fouling.
