Bar area aft then through a door to the kitchen galley area. Forward however takes you to the two guest suites. With over 2m of headroom and stylish decor they would make great private bedrooms too. First the midships cabin with a double bed of 2m long x 1.8m wide and a private shower room forward. There is also another access door to the cabin from the forward staircase giving access onto the foredeck. This would not only serve as a private access avoiding going through the lounge area but also serves as an emergency exit. Next is the forward cabin, also accessed from either the foredeck stairs or the corridor from the lounge. This cabin has equally stylish decoration and similar shower room. WC’s are domestic flush units. Both cabins have air-conditioning and heating as well as having great views and bright atmosphere. Many charter barges are not ideally suited to use as private residential homes due to multiple identical cabins but this boat really would make a stylish cruising home for anyone wanting to cruise the waterways in comfort without having to looking after paying guests. Anyway! Back to the lounge. Aft from here is the kitchen galley well equipped and practically laid out for commercial use it may need a little “personalisation” for own use?? Take a look at the photos and videos to decide for yourself. Off to starboard from the kitchen is a heads & shower for crew use and a pantry store cum laundry room. Aft of the kitchen is an office and starboard a single berth crew cabin with storage and a single bed 190 x 70. Aft down a couple of steps is the owners/operators full beam double cabin with a double bed 190 x 140 and a bathroom. Yes bathroom with full sized bath!!
Heating and air-conditioning throughout. 200 litres of hot water are permanently circulated around the plumbing system so guests don’t have to wait ages for hot water to arrive from some distant tank. All in all a stylish and unusual, quality fit out to architect design resulting in a practical, spacious, bright and comfortable cruising home and or boutique charter barge.
