What a cracking first boat or an ideal step up, from an open speedboat to a manageable family cruiser. The current owner thought so when he went out to buy her. Unfortunately the plans didn't account for the impending arrival of another junior crew-member and he now needs to go bigger!
Fairline have been making good use of available space for some time now and they also utilise real joined up wood as opposed to the printed "wood-effect" as found more commonly on mass produced boats.
The boat was re-engined in 1998 with a handsome Volvo V8 unit delivering both torque and a low revving cruising speed of around 25 knots.
The engine, canvas and upholsterey are all in pretty good order, meaning that there would be little need to spend money on her aside from a couple of electronic gizmos to complete her inventory.
