Now that's more like it! A privately owned and well maintained example of this popular family cruiser.
I have to point out that the boat was not prepared for my visit in advance as the owner was away when I had the opportunity to take the photographs
My blunt approach to boat descriptions means I can't describe her in 'As New' condition. However she is in very good order. Underneath the carpet in the saloon, the wood flooring has probably never seen the light of day.
This boat does not suffer from the usual sagging cushions, thread-bare fabric and worn,flaking varnish on the hand-rails and steps of the companionway most commonly seen on the heavily used charter boats of the same year.
It might have been a trick of the light but it looked to me as if someone had actually polished the engine!
